The Emery Trust welcomes donations and bequests for those that do not want to incur the expense to set up a trust benefiting rail preservation. We welcome all donations of any size, no matter how large or small. There is a dropdown page now which more clearly articulates how donations and bequests are handled.

Effective June 30, 2022, the grant application has been revised with some updated questions and a checklist added to make sure all attachments have been included. Any use of older versions before the June 2022 version will not be accepted.

Most significant are additions requesting copies of publicity and photos of recognition plaques from prior grants. There are also questions about where equipment will be run and requests for agreements for where equipment will be run if the location is not owned. Finally note the inclusion of a checklist at the end of the application to make sure all separately labeled attachments are included.

We would like to remind everyone that brevity is most important in submitting your written application, not length.
